The Last of Us Part II, Fall Guys, Hades, Animal Crossing: New Horizons: με παρουσιαστές τους Laura Bailey και Travis Willingham, η 38η τελετή βράβευσης των Golden Joystick Awards (γνωστά και ως People’s Gaming Awards) ολοκληρώθηκε τις πρώτες πρωινές ώρες, με το The Last of Us Part II να σαρώνει τα βραβεία!
Ο πολυσυζητημένος τίτλος της αμερικανικής Naughty Dog (η οποία βραβεύτηκε και ως Studio of the Year) «παρέλασε» θριαμβευτικά, λαμβάνοντας διακρίσεις για Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, Best Audio, PlayStation Game of the Year και όπως αναμενόταν, το βραβείο του Ultimate Game of the Year.
Στο «βάθρο» με τους νικητές και το «διαμαντάκι» της Supergiant Games, Hades, το οποίο έφυγε με τα βραβεία Best Indie Game και Critic’s Choice, ενώ το Fall Guys της βρετανικής Mediatonic έλαβε τα Best Family Game και Best Mutliplayer Game.
