Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες για τα 20α Βραβεία της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου (BAFTA), τα οποία θα πραγματοποιηθούν στο Queen Elizabeth Hall, στο Southbank Centre του Λονδίνου την Πέμπτη 11 Απριλίου 2024.
Σύμφωνα με την επίσημη ανακοίνωση, θα δούμε 40 τίτλους να διεκδικούν τη νίκη σε 17 κατηγορίες, ανάμεσα στους οποίους ξεχωρίζουν τα Baldur’s Gate 3 (10 υποψηφιότητες), Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (9 υποψηφιότητες), Alan Wake 2 (8 υποψηφιότητες), Hi-Fi Rush (5 υποψηφιότητες), Dave the Diver (5 υποψηφιότητες), Cocoon (4 υποψηφιότητες), Dredge (4 υποψηφιότητες), FINAL FANTASY XIV (4 υποψηφιότητες), Super Mario Bros.™ Wonder (4 υποψηφιότητες) και Viewfinder (4 υποψηφιότητες).
Έντεκα από τους δώδεκα υποψήφιους στις κατηγορίες Ερμηνείας λαμβάνουν την πρώτη τους υποψηφιότητα για BAFTA — συμπεριλαμβανομένου του Sam Lake για το Alan Wake 2, των Amelia Tyler, Andrew Wincott, Neil Newbon, Samantha Béart και Tracy Wiles για το Baldur’s Gate 3, του Ralph Ineson για το FINAL FANTASY XIV, των Cameron Monaghan και Debra Wilson για το STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor™ και τέλος, των Tony Todd και Yuri Lowenthal για το Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
